Christian Education

11:15 - 12:00 noon

SMEC offers educational opportunities for all ages and
you are invited to visit any of the groups/classes.

All classes meet immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service and end at 12:00 noon.

Nursery For young children SMEC provides a staffed nursery available from 9:15 to noon for infants - 3 year olds. (Room 108) The staff uses age appropriate materials for teaching. During the Offertory parents often bring children back to church for a family experience of Communion.

 

Preschool (3-4 year olds)

 

Early Elementary (Transition/Kindergarten/1st Grade)

 

Elementary (Grades 2-3-4)

 

Upper Elementary (Grades 5-6)


Youth in Grades 8 through 11 follow a single four-year curriculum divided into two two-year sections.

Rite 13 for Grades 8 & 9 and
Journey to Adulthood Program for 7th - 12th grade

 

Adult Classes
Adult Forum meets in Moseley Hall
following the 10:00 a.m. service.
